Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your CirclePay account and all associated data, please follow the steps below.

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. From the app: Open CirclePay → Settings → Delete Account → Confirm deletion.
  2. Via email: Send an email to support@circlexplorer.com with the subject line "Delete My Account" from the email or phone number associated with your account.

What Data Will Be Deleted

  • Your profile information (name, phone number, email, NIC)
  • Payment history and transaction records
  • Linked bank account details
  • Device and session information
  • Biometric authentication data

What Data May Be Retained

  • Transaction records required by financial regulations (retained for up to 7 years as required by law)
  • Data necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our terms

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once your account has been permanently deleted.
